Eeli Tolvanen Autographed “Draft Day” 16x20

The 2017 NHL Entry Draft was held in Chicago, and if early results are an accurate indication of future success, it has the potential to be one of the deepest drafts in recent history. Two years later, two of the top five picks had already skated in the NHL All-Star Game and many of the first round selections had made their professional debuts. The steal of the draft may have come with the Nashville Predators selected Finnish forward Eeli Tolvanen with the 30th pick of the first round. The Preds were coming off a Stanley Cup finals appearance yet were able to reload their front line with the 5-foot-10, 192-pound Tolvanen. He made his NHL debut less than a year later when he skated in a 7-4 loss to the Sabres on 3/31/18. This designed piece features a few images of that draft day as well as a couple action images of Tolvanen’s early games with the Predators.
