Eric Lindros Autographed “Career Legacy” Framed Orange Numbers Piece

On January 18, 2018, the Philadelphia Flyers officially retired Eric Lindros’ number and by doing so ensured that no one else would ever wear the number 88 in a Philadelphia Flyers uniform again. The number is almost as recognizable as the name. When fans look up to the rafters and see the number 88 banner hanging down they remember the player that brought them so much excitement from 1992-2000. Lindros’ hard-nosed style gave him the reputation as being one of the toughest hockey players ever. As a result of his play he suffered multiple concussions (at least 8 in his career), but it wasn’t just his toughness that resulted in his number being retired. In 760 career regular season games Lindros tallied 372 goals and 493 assists, a total of 865 points and a stellar 1.13 point per game average. While Lindros played for four teams in the NHL his number 88 will forever hang in the rafters in Philadelphia as a reminder that he was one of the greatest Flyers ever.
