Details
Suffering a total of eight confirmed concussions in his career there is perhaps not a tougher man in hockey or in all of sports than Eric Lindros. Lindros made his mark in hockey early on winning the Red Tilson Trophy for the Most Outstanding Player in the OHL in the 1990-91 season at only 18 years old. Drawing comparisons to Wayne Gretzky he would spend his first 8 years in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers winning the Hart Memorial Trophy and Lester B. Pearson Award in the 1994-95 season and leading the Flyers to the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals. Later on in his career he would lead Team Canada to the gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. While injuries and concussions kept Lindros sidelined for significant amounts of time he will always be remembered not only for his extraordinary play but also his extreme physical toughness on the ice.
This plaque is autographed by Eric Lindros. Lindros’ signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This plaque is not limited.
