Details
When Eric Lindros made his debut for the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1992-1993 season it already seemed almost certain he would be a Hall of Famer. Scouts said Lindros had the size of Mario Lemieux, the earning potential of Wayne Gretzky, the potential impact of Bobby Orr, and the mean streak of Gordie Howe. Sure enough, Lindros made an impact right away setting a rookie record for the Flyers by scoring 41 goals in his first season. Later on, he would help form the “Legion of Doom” from 1995 to 1997, the name given to him, John LeClair, and Mikael Renberg for their ability to dominate games physically (each of the three were 6 foot 2 or taller and weighed over 230 pounds). Throughout his career, “The Big E” would amass a total of 865 points in 760 NHL games in his career, an impressive 1.14 point per game average, good for 18th all-time.
This plaque is autographed and inscribed “HOF 16” by Eric Lindros. Lindros’ signature and inscription were witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This plaque is not limited.
