Eric Lindros Autographed Philadelphia Flyers Puck
Signed By: Eric Lindros
Type: Autographed Hockey Puck
Pen Color: Silver
Details
The best stretch of Eric Lindros’ career was spent as part of a tandem called the Legion of Doom. After a slow start to the 1994-95 season, the Philadelphia Flyers needed change, so they formed this new line featuring Lindros, John LeClair, and Mikael Renberg. The Legion of Doom proved to be an instant success with their offensive prowess and physicality, as the Flyers went 25-9-3 for the rest of the season while outscoring opponents 128-98. Philadelphia would make the playoffs for the first time in six seasons and Lindros’ success was rewarded with the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL MVP. The success kept rolling as Lindros scored 115 points the next season to go along with 51 goals from LeClair. 1996-97 turned out to be the last season of the Legion of Doom, but it was also the best as the Flyers reached the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in a decade. The three years of the Legion of Doom helped set the tone for years of winning for the Flyers and set the tone for Lindros’ Hall of Fame career.
This puck is autographed by Eric Lindros with a silver paint pen. Lindros’ signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck Authenticated representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
