Jari Kurri was born on May 18, 1960, in Helsinki. By the age of 16 he was playing for the prestigious Jokerit club. Kurri went on to be selected 69th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round of the 1980 NHL draft. At the age of 20, Kurri left Finland and came to North America to play in the NHL. Kurri won five Stanley Cups in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990 as a member of the Oilers. Kurri has signed the back of this authentic CCM blue jersey in black paint pen.
