From the very start of his career, it was without a doubt that Nick Suzuki was on the rise. As a rookie he notched 41 points, scoring 13 goals. It only took seven games for Suzuki to get into the goal column. On October 17th, 2019, Nick Suzuki and the Canadiens were at home squaring off against the Minnesota Wild. After the Canadiens quickly went up 2-0 in the first period, they were out looking for more. Suzuki was in the right place at that time as a deflected puck went right to him as he was approaching the net. He was able to put the deflected puck in the back of the net for his first-ever NHL goal.
