Nick Suzuki Autographed The Show “Captain on Ice”

Being named team captain is one of the most prestigious honors and traditions in the NHL. Through the 2021-22 season, there had been 30 team captains for the Montreal Canadiens since being founded in 1909 and 26 since the start of the NHL. The franchise named a new captain in 2022, and it was young center Nick Suzuki. Coming off his first career All-Star appearance, Suzuki was seen as a cornerstone for the Canadiens for years to come. The London, Ontario native has responded well in the two seasons since being named captain, building upon career highs with 26 goals and 66 points in 2022-23 and 33 goals and 77 points in 2023-24. Suzuki was rewarded with All-Star game appearances in both years and looks to be a staple as the leader of the Canadiens for years to come.
