Patrick Roy Autographed & Inscribed “3X Vezina Trophy” Vintage Throwback White Mitchell & Ness 1992 Montreal Canadiens Jersey

The Vezina Trophy is awarded each season to the NHL’s best goaltender, as voted on by the league’s 32 general managers. Roy made his debut for the Canadiens on February 23,1985 but wouldn’t play regularly with the Canadiens until the following season. While he wouldn’t win his first Vezina Trophy until the 1988-89 season (his fourth full season in the NHL), he had already established himself as one of the NHL’s premier goaltenders by that time. In Roy’s first full season in the NHL, the 1985-86 season, he led his team to a surprise Stanley Cup Trophy compiling a .923 postseason save percentage and an impressive 1.93 goals against average in 20 games. Roy would win all of his Vezina trophies with the Canadiens winning it in 1989, 1990, and 1992.
