Patrick Roy Autographed & Inscribed Authentic KOHO Revolution Goalie Catcher
Signed By: Patrick Roy
Type: Autographed Hockey Glove
Pen Color: Silver
Details
After Patrick Roy retired from the NHL he was asked during an interview who the shooter that he feared the most was and his answer says a lot about the type of player Roy was during his 18-year career. His response to the Sports Illustrated writer was, "to be honest with you, there's none." Roy was selected in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, 50 picks after the #1 pick Mario Lemiuex. Roy played with a "warrior" attitude that brought his game to another level.
Upper Deck worked directly with CCM to reconstruct the exact equipment that Roy wore when he was playing, down to the details of the 2 piece cuff. This KOHO Revolution catcher was signed and inscribed "Be a Warrior" by Roy in silver paint pen in front of a UDA representative. Roy's signature and inscription are deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
