Peter Forsberg Autographed Authentic Alternate CCM Colorado Avalanche Jersey

Following the 2000-2001 season of winning their second Stanley Cup title, the Colorado Avalanche decided to unveil a third jersey to their wardrobe, an alternate jersey that featured “Colorado” diagonally positioned from left to right against a burgundy red background on the front of the jersey. The jerseys were worn from 2001-2007 and the style was unique in the fact that it was the first Avalanche jersey to be worn that did not feature the iconic Avs logo on the front. The black, white, and blue striping on the bottom of the jersey and on the shoulders was also a different look to the team’s standard home and away jerseys.  The feedback on these jerseys was overwhelmingly positive and because they were only worn for a select amount of games they have become a rare collector’s item.

This authentic alternate CCM Colorado Avalanche jersey is autographed by Peter Forsberg. Forsberg’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
