Peter Forsberg Autographed Authentic Yellow Nike Olympic Vintage Throwback Jersey

The 1994 Winter Olympics contained some of the most memorable moments ever for Team Sweden’s Men’s Olympic Hockey team. At the center of Sweden’s Gold medal run was Peter Forsberg, who scored the winning goal of the penalty shootout that decided the gold medal game. In scoring the goal Forsberg used his now famous “one hand, slide in” goal move, a move that he borrowed from retired Swedish hockey player Kent Nilsson and is now used regularly in the NHL today. What makes Forsberg’s heroics even more significant was the fact that his goal helped Sweden’s men’s team to their first gold medal in 74 years. 12 years later in the 2006 Winter Games in Turin, Italy Forsberg would tally 6 points in 6 games in helping to lead Team Sweden to its second Gold Medal.
