Details
Peter Forsberg’s career spanned across 17 years, 3 different franchises, and 859 total games (including playoff games). In that time Forsberg accumulated 885 total points as well as 171 total playoff points, 2 Stanley Cup Trophies, 1 Hart Trophy, 1 Calder Memorial Trophy, and 1 Art Ross Trophy. Forsberg’s first season started with the Quebec Nordiques (they moved to Colorado to become the Avalanche a year later), he played all but two seasons of his career with the Nordiques/Avalanche and accumulated 914 of his 1,056 regular season and playoff points with them. After finishing the 2006-2007 season with the Nashville Predators Forsberg would return to where he started re-joining the Avalanche for the 2007-2008 season. While Forsberg’s return was brief (he played only 7 games in the 2007-08 season and 2 more in the 2010-11 season due to injuries) it was fitting that he end his historic career with the same franchise he started with. Forsberg’s jersey number was retired by the Avalanche in 2011 and he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
This image is autographed by Peter Forsberg. Forsberg’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This item is limited to 30.
