Peter Forsberg Autographed and Inscribed “2X SC CHAMPS” Authentic Red Mitchell & Ness Colorado Avalanche Jersey

Playing all but 3 of the 14 seasons of his career with the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche, Peter Forsberg scored 885 career points, 755 of them coming while he was with the Nordiques/Avalanche. Known by fans as “Peter the Great” and “Foppa”, Forsberg retired with the Avalanche in 2011, his number retired by the team on opening night the following season on October 8th, 2011, his number 21 to never be worn again by another Avalanche player. Perhaps Forsberg’s greatest achievement in Colorado was helping the Avalanche to the organization’s first two Stanley Cup titles in 1996 and 2001. In the 1995-96 season Forsberg put up the best season of his career with a career high in goals (30), assists (86) and points (116). Forsberg was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 17, 2014. Additionally, Forsberg was named one of NHL’s 100 greatest all-time players by the NHL as part of the league’s 100th anniversary celebration in 2017.
