Peter Forsberg Autographed Up Close & Personal Wrapped Canvas

Born in Sweden, Peter Forsberg built his hockey reputation as a forward with outstanding playmaking skills and great vision, many hockey experts said Forsberg had a “Wayne Gretzky-like” passing touch. While Forsberg’s style of play made him one of the most exciting players to watch, it also made him very injury-prone throughout his career as he would consistently have to deal with foot injuries. Although Forsberg made a lasting impact with the Avalanche in helping the organization to its First and Second Stanley Cup titles, his contribution to his country was just as significant if not greater. Counting the Olympics and World Championships, Forsberg helped Sweden to a total of four gold medals throughout his career and is arguably the best Swedish hockey player there has ever been. His success and rough style of play helped to change the perception that Swedish hockey players were not tough and his victories for Sweden helped build respect for his country on the world stage.
