Details
In 1966, the NHL announced they would be expanding the league with the addition of the West Division which consisted of six teams. For the first time, professional ice hockey was brought to Southern California with the creation of the Los Angeles Kings for the 1967-1968 season. A franchise that has produced many superstars, the Kings hope Quinton Byfield will be the next big addition to the team. Byfield played two OHL seasons in Sudbury, Ontario, a city that usually has more than 100 days a year below freezing. The 6’5 center will have to make big adjustments when showcasing his talents on the stage of the West Coast. Already experiencing the NHL playoffs in his rookie year, Byfield looks to continue this success and help the Kings win their third Stanley Cup.
This rubber Los Angeles Kings logo hockey puck is autographed by Quinton Byfield with a silver paint pen. Byfield’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
