Sarah Fillier made her Olympic debut at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and she made it an Olympics to remember helping Team Canada to the gold medal. Including the preliminary round, Canada would play 7 games, not losing a single game. After sweeping the first three games in the preliminary round Canada would play Sweden in the quarterfinals and breeze to an 11-0 win, Fillier would earn a hat trick. Canada would defeat Switzerland 10-3 in the semifinals and the United States 3-2 in the finals to win gold.
