On February 7, 1996, the Ducks acquired Selanne and Marc Chouinard, in exchange for Chad Kilger, Oleg Tverdovsky, and a third-round draft pick in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Selanne's arrival in Anaheim injected excitement into the organization and instantly elevated the team's profile. In his first four full seasons in Anaheim, Selanne notched an impressive 388 points. Selanne shined with the Ducks, solidifying his status as one of the NHL's elite players and eventually helping lead the team to its first Stanley Cup championship in 2007.
