Teemu Selanne’s professional hockey career was a special one. From his early days in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets to his storied tenure with the Anaheim Ducks, Selanne showcased unparalleled skill and passion for the game. With the Jets, he burst onto the scene, setting the rookie record with 76 goals in the 1992-1993 season and totaling 414 points during his time in Winnipeg. Upon joining the Anaheim Ducks in 1996, Selanne continued his success on the ice as he recorded 482 points in six seasons. Selanne then bounced around to the Sharks and Avalanche before finding himself back on the Ducks. His final tenure with the Ducks was a memorable one as he earned numerous accolades, including the Stanley Cup in 2007. Selanne's impact extended beyond the NHL, representing Finland internationally and leaving an enduring legacy, which also led to his famous nickname “The Finnish Flash”.
