Tiger Woods led the event wire-to-wire and captured his 82nd PGA Tour victory, which tied Sam Snead for the all-time lead. It was a strange tournament at times as a torrential rain wiped out the second round. In the final round Monday, he birdied 18, finishing 1-under for his final seven holes to defeat hometown hero Hideki Matsuyama by three strokes. Sungjae Im (65) and Rory McIlroy tied for third.
