Since turning professional in 2019, Hovland has amassed an impressive list of achievements. As the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour, his victory at the Puerto Rico Open in 2020 underscored his potential. His consistent performances and top finishes have solidified his position among golf's elite, earning him a growing legion of fans worldwide. While he was first known for his outstanding driving skills, he stepped up his short game. Most notably at the end of the 2023 PGA Tour, Hovland put all the pieces together and played some of the best golf of his career. He won the last two tournaments and found himself at the top as Tour Champion.
