While Wayne Gretzky is clearly the best forward of all time, there’s no doubt the GOAT moniker for defensemen belongs to Bobby Orr. Both skaters are multiple-time Stanley Cup winners and each has a commanding presence in the Hockey Hall of Fame. While Orr was inducted in 1979, Gretzky received his honor two decades later in 1999. They are both on the Mt. Rushmore of hockey greatness.
