In 2022, Billy Horschel got the opportunity to do something many golfers dream of – represent the United States in the President’s Cup. The former FedEx Cup winner had a very good 2022, where he made 18 cuts out of 22 events and five top-ten finishes. The highlight of his season came at the Memorial Tournament, where he claimed his seventh PGA Tour victory by four strokes with an overall score of -13. Horschel’s year was rewarded with a selection to the U.S. team in the President’s Cup by captain Davis Love III. In his professional international team competition debut, Horschel won his first event, the Friday fourball match, with teammate Max Homa.
