Collin Morikawa’s golf journey started at Scholl Canyon when he was only five years old. Morikawa started lessons at a very young age and found himself training with golf instructor Rick Sessinghaus. Morikawa was so talented that at the age of twelve Sessinghaus was telling his wife Morikawa would be a professional one day. Morikawa continued to develop his game to become a top college recruit. With four respected universities (Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Cal-Berkeley) as his final choices, Morikawa chose to take his talents to Berkeley. His amazing swing and mental game allowed him to shine at Cal and start his professional journey.
