Morikawa has many different skill sets when it comes to his golf game. Some of his best work comes with irons in his hands. Morikawa states that the reason he hits balls so straight with his irons is because of his tempo. Morikawa utilizes his tempo along with staying connected and on plane to stay consistent with his swing. Morikawa doesn’t get caught up with numbers, he rather focuses on hitting the ball through a window in the sky. Overall, Morikawa has been able to make noise since turning pro as he quickly won two Majors in his first eight starts.
