Gary Player Autographed and Inscribed Open Championship Pin Flag

One of the most familiar faces of the Open Championship is the legend himself, Gary Player. He holds the record for most Open Championship appearances at 46. The even more impressive record is that those 46 appearances were consecutive. From 1956 to 2001, Player did not miss a single championship. He won on three separate occasions, and he is the only golfer to win in three different decades (1959,1968, & 1974). Player’s first victory at the Open may have been his most impressive as he was tied for 10th place going into the final round. He shot a 68 in his final round to lift him to first place.
