One of the most anticipated matches of the Ryder Cup is the Sunday Singles. More often than not Sunday is the day that decides who takes the title. Sunday Singles are the matches where the golfers face off in a head-to-head 18-hole match. In 2023, the US fell behind after not getting a single point until the third Saturday morning match. They needed a big Sunday in order to reclaim the title. Justin Thomas squared off against Sepp Straka. Thomas held a two-hole lead through most of the match until Straka closed within one to force the match to go all 18 holes. On the 18th, Thomas left no doubt with a birdie to win by two.
