Justin Thomas made his third appearance for the USA Team for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, Italy. Due to his success in international competition in past Ryder Cups and Presidents Cups, Thomas was a captain’s pick by Zach Johnson to make the 2023 roster. In his first Ryder Cup in 2018, Thomas led the United States with 4 points, and then followed it up with 2.5 points in 2021 to help contribute to a United States win. In 2023, Thomas had to face much tougher competition, but still managed to finish the tournament with 1.5 points. His win came on Sunday in the singles tournament against Sepp Straka.
