When he arrived at the University of Alabama in 2011, Justin Thomas was one of the nation’s top high school recruits. He didn’t disappoint. He won his first tournament as a Crimson Tide golfer and never looked back. He earned medalist honors four times and was earned both the Haskins and Nicklaus wards, presented to the National Player of the Year, and the Phil Mickelson Award as the National Freshman of the Year. He won twice more as a sophomore when Alabama captured a national championship.
