Details

Since the PGA Championship became an individual event in 1958, only 13 golfers have won the event multiple times. The most recent one to pull off the feat was Justin Thomas in 2022. The son of a PGA golf pro, Thomas established himself early in his career among the best in the sport with four PGA Tour wins leading up to the 2017 PGA Championship. At Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina the 24-year-old continued to climb the leaderboard each day, going into the final round at -5 and just two strokes off the lead. After tying for the lead on the front nine, Thomas set himself apart on the back nine, finishing at -8 to win his first major by two strokes. With nine wins after the 2017 victory, the Louisville native found himself among the favorites in the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Thomas stayed in the top ten after each day of the event but found himself down seven strokes heading into the final day. With a strong -3 on Sunday, Thomas earned a spot in a three hole playoff where he emerged victorious to win his second PGA Championship and second overall major, good for his 15th PGA Tour win.

Justin Thomas has autographed this image in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
