In 2023, Max Homa had one of the most electric comeback Tour victories when winning the Farmers Insurance Open. To start the final day, he was seven under par, six strokes out from first place. However, Homa was determined to climb the leaderboard. He played some of his best golf to find himself tied for first place on the ninth hole. Homa was in a back-fourth race for first, but the tide turned on the final hole. With a one-stroke lead, he birdied to solidify his Farmers Open Championship. This was Homa’s sixth PGA title and second won on the west coast in California.
