At 5’11, 190 pounds, Brayden Yager is the speedster every team wants at the center position. Yager has proved to scouts that he can play bigger than his size while possessing NHL caliber speed. This very skill set was shown to the world when he suited up for Team Canada in the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. His nine total points in five games would help boost Canada to their 17th gold medal since the year 2000. Yager was outstanding throughout the tournament, but his most notable performances were displayed in the round robin. His best game would come against Slovakia when he notched four total points, with two of them being goals. Yager will look to become the next young phenom to come out of Canada as he preps for the 2023 NHL Draft.
