Aaron Ekblad was 18 years old when he made his NHL debut as a defenseman for the Florida Panthers. The 6-foot-3, 213-pound player earned the OHL's most outstanding defenseman honor as a captain for the Barrie Colts. Ekblad also represented his country playing for Team Canada at the 2016 World Championships where they won the gold medal.
