Details
As the second overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Quinton Byfield was on a mission to make himself known across the league. Sure enough, he scored his first career NHL goal on January 27th, 2022. In the 2021 preseason, Byfield suffered an ankle fracture that sidelined him for a few months. In his sixth game back, he found himself in New York squaring off against the Islanders. With three minutes left in the first period, Kings forward Andreas Athanasiou dished the puck to Byfield. Quickly moving up the ice with a defender on him, Byfield delivered a beautiful wrist shot to score his first career goal in the NHL. His goal would be the difference maker in the game as the King’s would go on to beat the Islanders 3-2. This image is autographed by Quinton Byfield with a gold paint pen. Byfield’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This item is limited to 155.
